Helpful Insights Into Parenting with ADHD

Megan and Aleisha shares their insights as mothers with ADHD and how they juggle childcare and work, and their wellbeing techniques.

Megan gives helpful recommendations of books on different subtopics affecting women with ADHD and speaks about other lesser known symptoms that occur with ADHD, including pre-menstrual dysphoric disorder, hyperarousal and Pyrolle disorder.

Aleisha shares strategies on wellbeing strategies that helped her to parent 3 children while juggling her job and family life. Exercise keeps her sane, she speaks about Park Run and having a supportive partner who urges her to get some time for herself when she needs it. Good nutrition and having a meal plan, getting help with a cleaner every fortnight is also extremely important.
